The leaf is commonly known as the Ananias Fragment because it contains the story found in Acts of the early Christian Church members Ananias and Sapphira, his wife.

History
Origin
The manuscript to which the present leaf belonged is judged to have been written in either the 15th or 16th century. A place of origin is unknown.
Provenance
Provenance unknown. Catholic Epistle leaves (16) from the original manuscript were owned by Harry Kurdian (1902-1976), of Wichita, Kansas. It is presumed the leaves now are held in the Mekhitarian Monastery of San Lazzaro, Venice, Italy, which received Mr. Kurdian's manuscripts following his death. An additional leaf (Ms. Arm. 3) is said to be in the collection of the Philosophical Research Society, Los Angeles, California.
